The Public Works Event Space is a vintage 2nd floor loft space that features 100-year old refinished wood flooring and original tin ceilings. With giant windows that offer sweeping views of the area, the space sits within a historic Wicker Park building erected in 1885.
The clean white walls are adorned with contemporary graphic art and photography that can be removed for an event or left in place to highlight the space’s cultural capital.
Perfect for small receptions, ceremonies, meetings, social gatherings, celebrations and fundraisers.

Located in the heart of the Wicker Park neighborhood, the space is situated at the nexus of Chicago’s cultural center just steps from the infamous 6-corner. PWES is across the street from the Damen Blue Line El stop and one mile south of the Damen exit off 90/94, making it wonderfully convenient to travel to and from. Local catering options abound with dozens of unique restaurants in every direction.
